Celica was equipped with various 4-cylinder engines. GT-Four, all-wheel drive turbocharged model was made from 1986 to 1999. The fifth generation Celica was introduced in September 1989. Model received a new design, updated wheels and a more powerful GT-Four modification. In August 1990 GT-Four A convertible with broad wings was added to the Japanese modelline.
