In 1994, Toyota completely renewed Celica lineup. In the U.S., only ST and GT configurations (plus an additional "sport package" for GT) were available. ST modification was equipped with new 1.8 liter 7A-FE engine, which was also used on Corolla. GT modifications was equipped with 2.2 liters. 5S-FE engine, used on Camry. ST205 GT-Four version was launched in February 1994, and convertible came in the autumn of the same year.
