Model was produced under Dodge brand as a pickup, SUV and van. Dodge and Chrysler divisions prepared Dodge Durango (SUV). First two generations were very similar, both were based on Dodge Dakota and both were produced at a factory in Delaware Assembly. However, first-generation Dodge Durango was classified as a mid-size SUV, while the second generation was classified as a full-size SUV.
