Land Rover Freelander - compact "premium" crossover produced by Land Rover since 1997. The second generation was introduced in July 2006 at the motor show in London. For the North American market it was called LR2. Land Rover Freelander 2 was first introduced to the public at the International Motor Show in London. Front-wheel drive Freelander 2 eD4 becomes available for the European market in 2011.
