2002 is a two-door car, which was produced in 1968-1976 and was considered to be the direct ancestors of the third series BMW. In addition to the two-door modification, three-door liftbek Touring, which today would be called hatchback, was also offered. Power output was 100 hp. In 1973 it was presented with turbocharged engine - 2002 Turbo (170 hp), but in those years turbine at BMW petrol engines were not accustomed.
