Ferrari F40 is a two-door rear-wheel drive mid-engined supercar with a berlinetta body type. The car is based on the chassis of GTO Evoluzione and is a further development of the racing version of Ferrari 288 GTO. A total of 1315 cars were produced. F40’s weight is 1100 kg and high power output is 471 hp at 7000 rev/min, which gave the car a huge performance potential. On the road test car showed acceleration to 100 km/h in less than 3.8 seconds (while the track version performed the same exercise in 3.2 seconds).
