"Victory" - a cult Soviet passenger car series produced at the GAZ plant from 1946 to 1958 years. Factory index of the model is GAZ-M-20. The first Soviet passenger car with a monocoque body and one of the world's first serially issued car with a completely pontoon body. 235’999 vehicles, including 14’222 convertibles and 37’492 taxis were produced in total. In 1949 GAZ- M-20 and its creators were awarded the Stalin Prize. In 1950, a new gearbox control lever on the side of the steering shaft and synchronized higher gears were introduced.
