VAZ-2103 - Soviet passenger rear-wheel drive sedan. It was developed in conjunction with Italian Fiat company (was based on Fiat 124 models) and serially produced at the Volga Automobile Plant from 1972 to 1984. VAZ-2103 manufactured for further export were called Lada 1500. The base 78 hp engine allows VAZ-2103 to reach a speed of 100 km/h in 17 seconds, making it the most dynamic of the mass Soviet cars of those years. These dynamics were comparable with Western ones in its class.
