VAZ-2121 "Niva" is a Soviet off-roader - a small SUV class with a monocoque body and permanent all-wheel drive. Serially produced from 1977 to the present days. In 1978, VAZ-2121 was awarded a gold medal and was recognized as the best car in its class at the International show in Brno. In 1980, the car received a Gold Medal of Poznan International Fair. "Niva" has successfully conquered the North Pole in 1998.
