Subaru Outback - touring terrain (all-wheel drive crossover, SUV) made by Japanese company Subaru, built on the chassis of Subaru Legacy. Model name Outback comes from the remote and arid area in Australia. Production of boxer diesel engines for Legacy and Outbac started in March 2008, they were available only with 5-speed manual transmission. Since 2009, diesel cars were equipped with 6-speed manual gearbox.
