BMW New Six - six-cylinder family car category "luxury" from BMW was in production from 1968 to 1977. Its range consisted of large sedans (body E3) and coupe (E9). Numerals meant rounded engine capacity, the suffix -L designated long-wheelbase version. Was equipped with different petrol engines: 2.5 (150 hp), 2.8 (170 hp), 3.0 (180 HP with two carburetors), 3.0 (200 or 195 hp), 3.3 (200 hp). E9 Platform, especially 3.0CSL, was very successful in racing.
