AMC Javelin is a pony car that was built by the American Motors Corporation between 1967 and 1974 years. There were two generations, Sports Javelins came only as a two-door hardtop from 1968 to 1970. Second generation AMX version was the first pony car that was used by an organization - the U.S. normal highway patrol police car from 1971 to 1974
