BMW M5 - a modified version of BMW 5 series from the BMW M division. E39 M5 was introduced in 1998 at the Geneva Motor Show. Unlike its predecessors, E39 M5 was collected not by hand but on a normal production line at the factory. Power output of 5.0l V8 S62 engine was 400 hp. M5 was issued only in sedan version. The head of BMW M GmbH ordered the world’s only official BMW M5 E39 touring.
