Chevrolet Nova - a compact car produced by Chevrolet Corporation from 1962 to 1979. Until 1969, the base model was called Chevrolet Chevy II and as Chevy II Nova was designated one of the top kitting. In Canada, this model is sold under Pontiac brand. First generation were produced relatively long time - from 1962 to 1996. The release of SS version took place in 1963, but it came with 6-cylinder engine. In 1965 bigger 5.4l V8 L79 (300 hp) engines became available. In 1966, the old body received new front.
