IZH 21261 "Fabula" - Russia's five-seat rear-wheel drive passenger car with a wagon type of body. The first prototypes of the station wagon appeared in 1995, but on the streets of Izhevsk 21261 wagons appeared in 1991-1992. The car was produced from 2004 to 2006 and was positioned as unpretentious and roomy for traveling. IZH-21261 model was named "Fable" and made its debut at the Moscow Motor Show in 2003. An all-wheel drive wagon was also demonstrated. The car was equipped with UMPO-331 or VAZ-2106 engines.
